Sometimes we talk about baseball
One night we were on our way somewhere on the A train. A group of woman climbed into our car and spread out to the various seats or spots by the door. At once they launched into an a capella, beautifully harmonized version of Chain of Fools. We all sat silently. When they finished, the entire train car erupted in applause. Granted, we were a captive audience, but I've heard a lot of stuff on the train that went unnoticed. That was a good moment.
